Sounds From The Corner : Session #4 The Experience Brothers - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 20, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
"It's not about the money anymore," said Bram Saladdin, the younger in suburban rock & roll duo The Experience Brothers when asked about the definition of success.

"Success is about making music, being productive, and being exist."

Bram Salladin and Daud Sarassin are publicly known as a duo. "No plan to add another member. Both of us are stubborn and hot-heads. Bassists are easily peeved (laughing)." On the contrary, not many people realize the existence of their third member. I fully realize this is sounds a little bit peculiar in this whole band and music thingy, but the third member of The Experience Brothers is their Dad. While (in Indonesia) most dads are rejecting the idea of playing music as profession, this one is the opposite. "More than supportive," they said.

I am envy as hell.

"He is more like our "off the record" member. It's not just about family support, he is also our music director and personal manager. We have exactly the same taste in music. He also dig our kind of music. His comments are more than just listeners. He literally direct us to make certain kind of sounds, arrangements, etc."

In his obsolete days, Bram & Daud's dad is still showing up in Expbro gigs. "This year he is 65 years old," said Daud. Indeed, not an easy one for a gig-goer. "He is always riding his bicycle to our shows. I remember his farthest track was Rrrecfest from his office, Pulo Gadung - Cikini - Bekasi. Riding his bicycle." What a cool dad. - TW
