Five girls, four years, three line-ups, one ROCKING TIME, The Schla La Las are no more.

We played festivals, art galleries, a porno theatre; appeared in NME, i-D, Plan B, the Sunday Times Style magazine; got given some amazing dresses; had a clothing sponsorship deal (lost when George said the C-word at an all ages show); released three singles; made two videos; sang live on the BBC; were play-listed on Top Shop TV; used to advertise Die Hard, and had a BLAST.

We played our farewell show on the main stage at Truck Festival in September 07. There were dancing girls and confetti canons. We couldn’t think of a more fitting way to say goodbye.

What now? You can still find us on a stage near you: Delia strums in The Nuns, George is in a rocking new band called Ginger Tom, Hannah is a multi-instrumental mentalist in Vatican Cellars, Piney is playing gigs and releasing records all over the shop, and Katrin, well, Katrin is busy creating the future of music.

You’re still most likely to find us all at the bar however. Giggling, drinking whisky sours (or whatever you’re prepared to buy us) and thinking about hitting the dance floor.

Thank you. We had proper funs.

Kisses,

TSLLxxxxx

They're good and bluesy, and not afraid to write entire songs about trying to get laid. Quite possible the best band imaginable at a 21st birthday party.

Reviews of 1,2,3,4/Put Your Guitar Where Your Mouth Is, released on lovely vinyl by sounds experience and available to download from iTunes NOW:

The Schla La Las have a sassy attitude which speaks volumes through their brand of fun time pop. Fizzy and fun, a band worth dancing to.

Plastic Ashtray

Put Your Guitar Where Your Mouth Is' is a brattily brilliant and deceptively complex set of expertly and excitingly precarious interwoven inspirations, influences and egos, feel the hate, it's great!

Unpeeled

Their sound is vintage as the clothes they wear and illuminate a musical trend towards the good old days. They evidently wish to introduce some girlish charm and more roll for the rock, some good clean fun.

Rockfeedback

Of course I'm going to fucking love this! London band matches the pop swagger of early Headcoatees to the fuzzed-out surf sounds of all those excellent 'Girls from The Garage' Sixties compilations, throws in several barely in-key shouted harmonies and. man, this sounds like The Fizzbombs!

Whoa. Respect.
