Sons of the Pioneers - The Devil's Great Grandson - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 14, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Recorded in 1937, this early version of the well known Sky Ball Paint, features all vocalists of the time (excluding Tim Spencer, who left the group for a brief period). Bob Nolan sings the first verse. Lloyd Perryman sings the second. Roy Rogers solos with a yodel, and sings the third verse. Bob Nolan does the final verse. The song really shows the group's individual talents and their overall talent.

The musicians featured are: Bob Nolan, Roy Rogers, Lloyd Perryman, Hugh Farr, Karl Farr, and new member Pat Brady.

For those of you interested in western music or movies, I've started a site dedicated to it. I'm hoping to create a hub of information, because the history is pretty hard to come by. So if you'd like to follow it, or help out, just let me know.
