Tumbling Tumbleweeds Sons of the Pioneers with Roy Rogers - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 19, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
From the movie Hollywood Canteen 1944

Bob Nolan composed “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” one dreary October day in the early 1930s. Nolan was looking out of his apartment the window as the wind tore the leaves from the trees and sent them tumbling down into the yard and street below. That sight inspired the first lyrics to a song he initially called “Tumbling Leaves,” but that title was soon changed to “Tumbling Tumbleweeds,” and the song became one of the most popular Western songs ever written.
