A maple-neck Custom Shop Telecaster® guitar played through the amp's BURN channel. GAIN 1 is set for a tasteful amount of edgy bite; GAIN 2 is set low to keep overdrive at a minimum. The tone changes completely when the guitar's pickup selector is switched from neck to bridge at 0:36; one of the great qualities of a professional tube amp is that it enhances rather than masks changes in your guitar control settings or your picking attack.
