Garden of Eden (Vampires of Eden), the Don Juan band of Hungarian Dark & Roll, is ready to present the Hungarian-Transylvanian Romantic Vampire party feeling to the world.



The group was born from the changing Central Eastern European culture and started to play so-called classical dark music such as Sisters of Mercy, The Mission and Fields of the Nephilim.



After the success of those early times, the group began to realize that their real terrain was rock and roll. The three-album band has a huge fan club in Hungary, and now they are ready to gain all the European fans of gothic rock & roll.



The first EP was released by Hammer Records under the title Garden of Mortality, in 2001…the time when the audience started to pay attention to the band.



After some changes in the style of music, the first album Farewell to Eden come out in 2005.



The record was highly appreciated and welcome by the dark music scene. A successful period started in the band’s history. Several gigs and appearances on international festivals brought the guys lots of experience to build on. The songs of the album were followed by videos, some of them were also selected to appear on different gothic DVDs.



While touring the country, the guys were working on the most essential record so far. The studio work of the album was directed by Barnabás Hidasi, the most widely recognized producer of Hungary.



The new album, Say more… was finally released in September 2007 in Hungary as a dual disc. Emotional melodies and lyrics are combined with hard riffs and solos… the whole album is full of diversity, energy and deep impressions.



The DVD side of the record called Vampires of Eden contains tons of photos and videos of the band. The video for My time for instance was being played on Hungarian MTV. While the number of the fans is growing, the guys are working hard to get ahead, they’ve already played with such bands as Katatonia, Deathstars, The 69 eyes, To Die For



However, this latest album seems to be a milestone for the band. Thanks to the English lyrics, the band gets more and more invitation to present their energetic and powerful way of playing, not just in Europe, but overseas as well.



No one can tell where they are going, but they do know their own path to follow, and seems no one can stop them now.
