This song takes a melodic approach while maintaining a very heavy style. As I dedicate this song to two of my favorite guitarists, Jeff Hanneman (Slayer - R.I.P.) and Dimebag Darrell (Pantera - R.I.P.), I am playing their signature guitar models: LTD JH-600 with EMG 81/85 pickups and Kahler tremolo, and Dean Razorback Explosion with EMG 81 pickups and Floyd Rose tremolo.

I created my metal tone and presets with Amplitube (guitars) and Pod Farm (bass). I recorded and mixed the song with GarageBand (Digital Audio Workstation), using Line 6's UX1 interface.

I'm using BetaMonkey drums (Double Bass Mania). Drum beats, fills and loops were also edited and mixed in GarageBand.

This metal instrumental is called "One Life", written and recorded by myself. With all my original songs, I try to be different from the many players out there who usually sound like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani or Yngwie Malmsteen. I'm influenced primarily by classic Thrash Metal bands such as Slayer, Pantera, Metallica, Exodus, Testament, Anthrax, Sepultura, Megadeth among others.

This video was recorded with a Canon Rebel T3i camera.
