"Like a hurricane" was written by Neil Young and recorded with Crazy Horse produced by David Briggs and Tim Mulligan in 1975 at his Broken Arrow Ranch, Woodside, California, USA and released in 1977 on his "AMerican Stars'n Bars" album. The song was covered a.o. by the Walkabouts, Roxy Music, the Mission, Jay Farrar (Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo), Heather Nova, Jeff Healey, Randy Bachmann & Burton Cummings (ex-Bachmann Turner Overdrive), actor Adam Sandler, Placebo, Nils Lofgren (ex-The Grin), the Bates.

Sid Griffin is an American musician / singer-songwriter (former member of the Long Ryders, Western Electric and the Unclaimed), journalist and author. The Coal Porters are the world's first alternative Bluegrass band.
