A Star in Two Skies - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 07, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
In this mashup between the dramatics of Adele and the poetic influences of Joni Mitchell, Ryan Michael Galloway sings his latest song. "I've only sung this song twice for anyone but myself," says Ryan. "You're hearing this version very fresh. It's one of those songs that didn't come easy--a tortured evolution until I got to where I liked it. Now I can't stop playing it."

Mr. Galloway is influenced by the music of James Taylor, Cat Stevens, CSN (Crosby Stills and Nash), The Eagles, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, and the mixture of Jazz and Folk that occurred during the '60s and '70s.

A Star in Two Skies - Words and Music by Ryan Michael Galloway

I look into the dark
I can see your face
You're holding my heart
Floating into space
I'm not the only one
Who watches as you rise
Only simple logic it defies
"Cause you're a star in two skies

One, and only one
That's what I learned
Now I am undone
But not quite over turned
And I will let you
Pull me over to capsize
Only simple logic it defies
You're a star in two skies

I can say don't go
We can marry souls
I can make a case
That there ain't
Nothin' left to know
And the other one who loves you
Has to realize
It's only simple logic it defies
You're a star in two skies

You're a star in two skies
You're a star in two skies
You're a star in two skies
You're a star in two skies
