The Making of "When the Rain Comes Over Texas" by Ryan Michael Galloway - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Ryan Michael Galloway and legendary Texas bluesman, Michael "The Mudcat" Reames, talk about "When the Rain Comes Over Texas" from RMG's recent simultaneous CD releases: "Naked Numbers" and "All Dressed Up." The Mudcat played blues harmonica on one of the versions, and finds it to be one of his favorite songs. The tracks on both CDs were produced by Ron Logan, and co-produced by RMG.

The song was inspired by travel through the southern states of the US and the occasion to see dark storms rolling in from the west. The area has been stricken by drought for a number of years.

The song was originally written with the singing style of Willie Nelson in mind.
