DESCRIPTION:
A popular song from 1922 written by A.H. Gibbs, Joe Grey and Leo Wood.
It is probably best known for its inclusion in the classic 1959 comedy film "Some Like It Hot." set in the late prohibition era. The song is performed during a rehearsal on a train journey, with Marilyn Monroe providing the vocals.

This Duke Ellington version was popular when they were the house band at the Cotton Club during the Roaring 20s. This song catches the exuberant atmosphere of the times.
Not related to the Broadway show of the same time which was having wild success, "Runnin' Wild" which introduced James P. Johnson's classic "Charleston" dance song.
