Eva was recorded in the late sixties by Robbi Curtice (Rob Ashmore) and Tom Payne, and the recording engineer was as usual Chris Ward. The song was inspired by a little old lady who often shared a table with the boys at the Greyhound Pub in Leamington Spa. "Look through the window of your local hosteltry, there you'll see Eva".
