REVOLUTION OF THE MIND felt the need to address some of the issues
raised by the Busta Rhymes song "Arab Money," which caused controversy
for its depiction of Arab culture and language. Busta claimed the
record was meant to praise wealthy Arabs and present a different
aspect of Arab society, separate from terrorist stereotypes. This is
ironic, because he obviously failed to see the correlation between the
Arab Sheiks/Oil Billionaires that horde their nations' wealth, and the
poverty-stricken Arab masses that become fertile recruiting ground for
extremists. This is not a Busta Diss!! The song and video are meant to
educate those unaware of the realities of the Arab World.
