DESCRIPTION: Here's a bit of sweet Chicago Soul from 1968. Renaldo Domino first recorded this tune in '67 on the small Arnell label. The record went nowhere. Mercury's Smash label brought Renaldo in and redid the tune in '68, and it got a good bit of play in the Midwest. Renaldo was moved by Mercury to it's revamped Blue Rock imprint where he released probably his biggest record,'Just Say The Word'. Domino moved on to Twinight and recorded for a few more years. Pookie thinks this is his best record. In recent years the Twinight label was comped by the Numero Group and Renaldo, the Notations, and Syl Johnson have toured as a revue of sorts on the newly found fame of the Twinight archive. Enjoy one of Pookie's favorites.
