Things had changed a little for the Jammer boys by the time this was recorded in 1982. Jerry had left for Texas to do session work, Frankie had departed to play in "The Kind", and Paul was also absent, at least for this show.

Joe and Mikey were still the core and Jimmy "The Jet" Johansen was brought in on the drums. The band was now presented as a power trio!

I had gotten busy with my projects and hadn't been able to see the boys as much as I'd like, but on this night I especially wanted to be there because my old friend John Curulewski had been hired to do the sound and mix the show. I asked the boys if I could bring my new cassette recorder, set it up by the mixer, and this time I brought plenty of tape and pretty much got the whole evening.
