DESCRIPTION:
This recording comes from a live show at the venerable Chi-Chi Lounge on the south side of Chicago, a few days after Christmas '78.

Once again I was armed with my old trusty reel to reel, and once again I butchered the edits trying to save tape. Guilty as charged.

The band is considerably tighter this go round, but nothing typically is set in stone at a Jammer gig, always room for changes and improvisation.

I was working with guitarist Charlie Gaspadarek at the time in "Fayt", and leg in a cast and all he went with me to the show, and was invited by Joe to come up and play on Stormy Monday. When Charlie wanted to play, but not on a blues, the results were classic.
