Paul James

Paul James is a Producer/Remixer/Songwriter (and occasional singer) of the future and beyond with his futuristic beats, pulsating grooves and space age sampling. He has already written, produced and performed well over 500 songs and countless remixes since 1988 ranging from turbo charged house through atmospheric trance and electro to the beautiful soundscapes of his chillout tracks. Electronica at its very best.

He has had success in his own right in the dance charts in the UK,Europe,Australia and the U.S.A. plus further successes with his remix work and collaborations including a number 2 in the UK Club charts .

A few years ago Paul decided to concentrate on writing and producing for other vocalists to broaden and test his songwriting ability and several featured artist albums were born.As things progressed and following the warm reception from his last album PULSE Paul upped his game to produce his best pop/dance album to date FUSION.

2008 was a particularly incredible year with huge success with solo and featured artist projects most notably with the 'Paul James presents PULSE' and PULSE REMIXED albums which featured artists MS M,CHRIS JONES,KAITIE THOMAS,STELLA MARIE,TODD REEVES,FIONA CURTIS,LAURA CYGANIK,DELON BROOKS,ANTHONY DEFINA & ZOE ALEXZANDRA and gained global support throughout clubland and some MAJOR radio play including KISS FM FRANCE/GERMANY & BRAZIL,PREPARTY NETHERLANDS,NOVA & JOY FM AUSTRALIA,and various US dance stations and digital networks including the massive PRESSURE RADIO.Tracks also championed by the legendary MATT DAREY on the NOCTURNAL GROOVE SESSIONS.

His 16th album 'Pulse' has been critically acclaimed as his best all round pop album to date with 'diverse and outstanding vocal performances','a veritable feast of electronically charged beats and killer hooks' and superb remixes followed from the amazing Vision X,Nacho Chapado,Jonze,Sonic Monkey,Jake Benson,Hap,Roberto Bedross,DJ Christian,DJ Shizzle,Psyrok,Frankie Soukal,Gollum Smith,The Beta and Paul James himself.

Tracks from the albums and collaborations went on to secure licensing/record and distribution deals with PEAK HOUR USA,BEAT MONKEY RECORDS UK,NEUROTIC GROOVE USA,LIFTIN RECORDS FRANCE,MAY RECORDINGS GERMANY,MGM AUSTRALIA & AXIS TRAX UK.Paul James remixed tracks for several labels and artists too including work for the massive DANCE labels PEAK HOUR, NEUROTIC GROOVE & CELEBRITY RECORDS (Universal).

2008 also saw the amazing performance at the PAKISTAN TMA'S where top Solo female award winner ANNIE 'PRINCESS' KHALID performed Paul's club remix of her hit 'WAIT WAIT' where she was carried onto stage on a throne by an army of dancers in head dresses!!

The year ended on a new high when "BLACK MAGIC" The collaboration with the brilliant french producers Twill and B'dou made its first TV debut when part of the track was used on the grand finale of STAR ACADEMY in France .Star Academy in France is equivelant to the UK's X FACTOR with RIHANNA performing with the final winner in the finale! The show is the top TV show in France with a whopping 6 MILLION VIEWERS!

2009 kicked off in style with the launch of the new 'Paul James presents FUSION' album which saw dynamic performances from the all female line up CAROL JIANI, ZOE ALEXZANDRA,DONNA HIDALGO,LAURA CYGANIK,ROSEY,STELLA MARIE,KAITIE THOMAS & SONIC MONKEY!!! who 'wowed' the audience with their incredible vocals.With the buzz of the launch night still going strong its onwards and upwards to get all the tracks snapped up ,indeed 'Fusion' has already had its first signing to AXIS TRAX with Donna Hidalgo's 'FREQUENCY' and 'RADIOACTIVE LOVE' ft Carol Jiani,'SPACE ODYSSEY ft Rosey,'TOO LATE FOR SORRY' ft Sonic Monkey & 'COMPUTER GENERATION' ft Stella Marie signed to US Label 8025 Alliance Music Group.

His next projects for 2010 include new solo album 'Futurelights'',artist collaboration album 'Paul James Experiments TEST TUBE CREATIONS',& Stella Marie's debut album.There will also be several remix releases for other well known artists on both major and indie labels and a host of new and exciting collabs!.
