Born in Kent, UK in October 1978, Ellectrika was highly inspired from a very young age by accessible pop music throughout the 80’s and 90’s. She soon became an avid fan of Kylie Minogue and adored the world of Stock / Aitken / Waterman with their artists like Mel & Kim, Sintta and the aforementioned Kylie who is still a huge part of Ellectrika’s life today.

As a girl, Ellectrika began to find an interest in singing. Her talent was evident to those around her who in turn encouraged her to peruse the idea of performance. The young Ellectrika would put on little shows for family and friends (singing Kylie songs) and began to enter lots of talent competitions.

At the age of 12, the songwriter began to emerge and Ellectrika found a new zest for involving herself in music by writing along side doing many public performances throughout her childhood and teenage years, including some with Herbie Flowers, former bassist for the legendary David Bowie and Lou Reed & Sky

In 2001 Elle began working with French producers Blind Sensation, the people behind the BS Traxx label. She was flown over to the South of France where she recorded a number of productions during that summer including 'I’ Used 2 B A St*r’, ‘I Can’t Let U Go’, ‘Project X’, 'Pleasure/Desire', ‘Rainbow Champagne (The Dimensional City)', '4/44', 'It's Raining Over London City', 'Sunflower' (originally a collaboration with Galaxy) and 'Can't Get Enough' (a collaboration with American French Machine).

‘The lyrics to my songs’, she says, ‘have depth and deeper meanings to them. For example my first record, ‘I Used 2 B A St*r’ has little to do with what the song indicates. It’s up to the listener to fathom out the hidden messages. I enjoy making my lyrics and songs into puzzles’.

‘I Used 2 B A St*r’ was released in 2004 on the BS Traxx label and included 3 remixes from Rocco, DJ Fabrice and Blind Sensation.

Ellectrika’s second release ‘Sunflower’ was originally recorded in May 2005 when she returned to France to record a new batch of productions including 'Dansta', 'Dream Engineer', 'Diamond Doves', 'Zebra', 'No More Questions (Plenty More Answers)' and 'Stoop Low' plus a re-working of 'I Can't Let You Go' and showcased her material at a club in La Rochelle.

In 2006, Ellectrika acquired representation by Elation Management who is currently looking after her interests. Elation CEO, Maz Lunden took a shine to her record ‘Sunflower’ and also licensed it for a 2-volume release on the new Elation label in May 2007.
