This is piece o' work is the Fender Old Growth Redwood Telecaster, a limited run Tele crafted from reclaimed old growth northern california redwood salvaged from the Brown's Canyon railroad trestle. This centuries-old wood, with its hand-rubbed oil finish, lends the Fender Old Growth Redwood Tele a unique appearance, light weight, and a distinctive, resonant voice. '62 TEle Custom Pickups bring the classic tele tones to this distinctive guitar, with a slight modern twist from the no-load Delta Tone Control. The maple neck and 9.5" radius maple fretboard are finished in nitro lacquer, with the fretboard done in gloss and the "U" shaped back done in satin, deftly combining vintage aesthetics with a smooth modern feel. The Fender Old Growth Redwood Tele is part of Fender's 60th Anniversary Tele-bration, and is a very limited edition that's sure to be coveted by collectors and players alike.
