A film by Ovidiu Marinescu, soundtrack composed and performed by the author. Written for solo cello, the piece was composed in June 2016 and was premiered in Limeira, Brazil.

The Satanic Nightjar is an African bird. According to a local superstition, the bird is a demonic entity that tears out the eyes of sleeping people at night. The superstition was born from the "wet" plopping sound made by the bird. http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/22689670/0
