The forces of guitar player Alexander Beyrodt (ex Sinner, Primal Fear, The Sygnet) and vocalist DC Cooper (ex Royal Hunt), came together to form this German/American Progressive Power Metal band in 1999. In 2000 their debut album "The Empire of Future" was released.The line up at that moment was: DC Cooper (vocals), Alexander Beyrodt (guitar), Fleisch (bass), Torsten Roehre (keyboards) and Andre Hilgers (drums). In 2001 the band released under Massacre Records their second album "Infatuator", and decided to part ways with Fleisch recruiting ex Headstone Epitaphs bassist, Juergen Steinmetz. In 2004, after a 3 year break and a label change to Sanctuarys Noise Records, the band released their most succesful album named "Worlds Apart", that made them receive the best reviews of the bands career. Silent Force has toured all over Europe with bands such as: Stratovarius, Symphony X, Rhapsody, UDO, Angra, Heavenly, played in the United States at the Prog Power Festival and toured Japan with the American band Kamelot. The bands fourth album "Walk the Earth" was released in February 2007 through their new label, AFM Records. The band is recently writing on the next album.
