Hanne Boel releases this new single on friday Oktober 21st 2016!

Hanne Boel has been in the studio with the Danish producer David Mørup, that worked with popular temporary Danish artists like Christopher and Scarlet Pleasure.

The work has resulted in the new single ”You Kept Me Waiting” that Boel co-wrote with Anders SG (from the famous Danish group Alphabeat) and Emil Falk (from the Danish hip hop group Flødeklinikken). With Hanne Boel’s brilliant vocals in front of a euphonious and sharp production a new chapter in Boels long career starts.

After Boel’s participation in the popular Danish TV program ”Toppen af poppen” (The best singers (UK) / Hver gang vi møtes (NO)), her plans for the future is to write new songs that is more in the style that people know her for. First this single. Then a whole new album next year, shows in the spring of 2017 and a summer tour in 2017 with a full band.

But allready from the 2nd of November Hanne Boel is going on a tour with the two guitarplayers/singers Jens Runge and Jacob Funch in Norway and Denmark. She will play 12 shows in Norway followed by 18 shows in Denmark. You can see the full tour details here:

Through the years Hanne Boel has build up her career in the whole Scandinavia and Germany and she has a total album sales of over 2,5 million copies. The album ”Dark Passion” (1990) alone sold over 500.000 copies around the world in total and in Denmark alone it sold 340.000 copies. This makes the album the 6th best selling Danish album ever. Hanne Boel won 4 Grammy-awards for the album ”Dark Passion” in Denmark in 1991.
