Bill Nelson - "On a Blue Wing" (whole album) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 03, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Bill Nelson's "On a Blue Wing"... the American release of his GETTING THE HOLY GHOST ACROSS, carefully purged of a cover and title which a certain fundamentalist record chain owner in the U.S. found offensive (and resequenced "just because" was that not the raison d'etre for the existence of record labels? "Artists: feh; they understandeth not the ways of 'Product' and its mysterious Paths to Profit!").

Bill Nelson 1995 Interview (Part 7):

According to this interview with Bill, notions that there was anything mystical or weird or at all in any way enchanting about this album were completely mistaken.

Totally.

... I don't believe him, not for one second.

After all, I wound up being formally tagged with this silly name, did I not? And appearing as "Carl" in this dumb book:

That's just part of why I assert

BILL NELSON IS THE GREATEST ARTIST IN HISTORY

... and since I have been informed the album is available on CD in its full glory as a reissue of GETTING THE HOLY GHOST ACROSS... please buy it!

PS: yet still... as this channel's description states: "My fan channel: Buck Dharma, j'accuse!"

It's a game with many players, a play with many actors, and acts enshrined in origins obscure, but it's true that this is what I said to Buck that night as I handed the "Auld l'Anxiety" tape now dubbed REDIVIVUS to him... and pointed at him to emphasize each word I spoke:

"This is All! Your! Fault!"

That's my story, and I'm stuck with it.

;-)

PPS: You can do good things with an E-bow, and you can do bad things with an E-bow, and it is beyond doubt that Bill and Buck do the "good things". As for me, well, that's a proposition perhaps held dubious among the more tastefully inclined...
