After the great success of „Raw Meat / Song 2" by Diazpora in 2012, Our Label Records is back with the next Deep Funk classic to be: „Bastard" by Spanish Funk outfit Mothergroove. A sure addition for the vinyl boxes all over the world!

Initiated by Italian singer, songwriter and producer Gianni Sciannamé in Barcelona, the group is losely based around him and local musicians Abel Boquera (keyboard), Roger Serrahima (drums) and Brasillian bass player Daniel Doctors. After years of playing the local scene and a few Spanish festivals, recording an album, two EP and a single release, the band may feature from four to seven members due to the "family" approach instilled in the group by Gianni. Mothergroove's sound is heavily influenced by the likes of James Brown, Deodato, Banda Black Rio and Roy Ayers.
And now they are back with an uptempo dancefloor smash on Our Label Records.
