About This Release:

L2S are delighted to welcome UK producer SPD to the label. Many will already be familiar with SPD from his previous releases on Bristol label Slime Recordings. For L2S he has delivered a deep ep full of garage meets dubstep beats and sub bass so low it'll rattle your foundations! Title track "Insular" walks the fine line between dubstep and garage, with sleek drums, smooth keys and a cheeky "marijuana" sample that sets the tone for what is to follow. "Paved With Gold" follows with it's almost ambient soundscaping and sparse "drifting in space" drums sure to appeal to the crew who like there music deeper than deep. To round off the ep "Sunday Morning" rolls with tight drums and silky pads to sooth the weary raver.
