DESCRIPTION:
Louis 'Cowboy' Johnson's composition, 'Rosary,' is one of his earliest and best songs. The uploaded track was the first time it was played publicly, at the Mickey Newbury Gathering in Austin, Texas, in June of 2004. Former Newbury accompanist, Marie Rhines, joined Johnson on violin. Johnson's fine second album, "Old Friend", featuring all originals, has a studio version of Rosary.
