This commercial is just one in a series of the immensely popular MTV/VH1 inspired 'The Night Belongs To Michelob' ad campaign, which ran from 1986 to 1991.

This one features a heavily edited version of Steve Winwood's remixed 'Talking Back To The Night' from his 1987 'Chronicles' album.

I believe that this particular commercial first aired in either late summer or the early autumn of 1987. If I remember correctly, it was one of the most popular ones because it aired in heavy rotation well into the following year on both the prime time network and cable channels of the period.

2020 Edit: It's my opinion that it has aged very well even though it has been 33 years since the commercial first aired. And with the possible exception of slick back hairstyles, the Armani suited pseudo-Duran Duran/Spandau Ballet yuppie boys are sporting, and it would not look all that out of place if it were running today.
