Rapper, born Michael Denmon a.k.a Kay Nine in Ca, presented his first solo album The Nine Cocked Back In October 2002. Nine's album was independent and sold 12,000 copies. He then collabrated with a distribution company named Southwest which then in turn went bankrupt. After the major dissapointment, rapper Kay Nine was back at square one. on April 23, 2005 while in the studio preparing for his new album Nine was kidnapped, Carjacked and Gunned down Nine suffered a close range gunshot to the temple area, his mother also suffered three gunshots to the head and his Cousin was killed at the crime scene. The Kidnapping and Carjacking started in Los Angeles and ended in Redland California. Medical doctors at UCI Medical Hospital all thought that rapper Kay Nine would never recover from the gunshot wound because of its close range and the bullet penetrated to the brain. After surgery, Nine was back in the studio one week later and interviewing with DUB CNN. Nine believes that GOD spared his life for a reason and Nine is back to proclaim his place in the HIP-HOP world.
