DESCRIPTION:
A new concert length work by Michael Gordon (of Bang on a Can) for seven bassoons. Rushes will be premiered in September 2012 at the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center in Troy, New York (http://empac.rpi.edu/) and performed on tour throughout the Netherlands and Belgium during the fall of 2012.

The Rushes Ensemble is:
Rachael Elliott, Michael Harley, Lynn Hileman, Dana Jessen, Jeffrey Lyman, Saxton Rose, and Maya Stone.
