DESCRIPTION:
Carnal Ghoul, the new band from guitarist Daniel Jakobi (ex. Lay Down Rotten and Milking the Goatmachine) and drummer Stefan Hüskens aka Tormentor of Desaster ( Metalucifer, Decayed etc.) was formed with a mutual interest in Swedish old school style death metal. The music pays homage to the likes of Dismember, Grave Edge of Sanity and Entombed and contains a little influence from the old school from England, Benediction and Bolt Thrower.Their first EP,"The Grotesque Vault," will be released in early 2013 as MCD (Remission Records),7" (High Roller Records) and a limited Tape (tbc).
It was recorded,mixed and mastered in February 2013 in the holy halls of Desert Inn Studios in Sinn-Edingen (GER) with the help of Thilo Krieger. The first concerts and new songs are already planned.
