Executioner

Executioner was born in March 2004 from an idea of Hellredeemer (bass and vocals), P. Tormentor (drums), Devastator (guitar) and D. Warmonger (second guitar), under the monicker Bestial Lust, which is now a heavy-black metal band in which also Devastator takes part.

The sound draws on the old school of Venom, early Kreator, Sodom, Bathory, Possessed etc

In October 2004 D. Warmonger left the band, that started to call itself Executioner.

The trio started to compose its first own songs and play some covers and the line up was completed with the arrival of Night stalker (bass), in January 2005.

After various live apparitions, in July 2005 was recorded the first and self-released demo-tape, “Total fucking slaughter”, consisting on five own tracks.

After an year, Hellredeemer decided to leave the band for personal problems and other side-projects, so Obsessed (ex-Bloodlust) joined the band as singer and second guitar player.

In December 2006 a promo cd, limited to 100 copies, was recorded.

It would have had to precede the release of the first full lenght, "Arrival of the Executioner", but in the end it was never released.

The band splitted up in September 2008.
