DESCRIPTION:
By 2000 Chris was doing Church of Betty full-time and Kenny Siegal was doing Johnny Society full-time, but the members of The Hand still frequently made music together, peppering each other’s projects at The Kennel, the studio they shared in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Chris cameoed on Clairvoyance, which won Album of the Year at the 2002 Independent Music Awards. His trumpet section and thick vocal overdub are featured on Mexican Sunset. Chris approached the tune channeling the Tijuana Brass music he devoured as a child at his Spanish grandparents’ house.
