"When I was writing film reviews for the university newspaper a guy rang up and said he had a new print of the Bob Dylan movie 'Don't Look Back' and that it hadn't been seen in Australia since the sixties. I was like, oh yeah, sounds interesting - I'd never heard of the movie. Me and another reviewer went to this guy's house and he projected it on his loungeroom wall. It changed my life. When Dylan sang 'William Zanzinger killed poor Hattie Carroll' my destiny was changed forever (for better or worse) and that was when I decided that that was what I was going to do. I went out and bought the first two Bob Dylan records, dusted off the toy guitar that my dad had fixed by drilling a big screw between the neck and body, and started writing songs. I never thought I could be a singer but I tried anyway."



Anne released her 4th album (Koala Motel) last year which features special guests: Nancy Wilson (Heart), Lucinda Williams, John Doe (X), Jim Lauderdale, Will Courtney (Brothers & Sisters) and Doug Pettibone.
