DESCRIPTION:
"Piece for Anvil and Triangle" was the third piece in a solo percussion set performed by Matt Hannafin at the Creative Music Guild's Outset Series at Revival Drum Shop, Portland, Oregon, on March 6, 2013. Like the entire set, it's a semi-composed piece that has at its heart two goals: (1) to get the most from limited means, instrumentally and structurally, and (2) to get fully inside the sound of the instruments, putting their inherent acoustical characteristics at the forefront. The set was filmed and produced by Portland Community Media.
