The Diarists present Singapore Songwriter Leslie Low performing Anger and Futility by The Observatory
We first met Leslie Low in the dark confines of the IARC as part of Hanging Up The Moon. Leslie is a member of two influential Singapore bands Humpback Oak and The Observatory and were nervous to meet him. But his warmth and quiet humour made us feel immediately at ease. We've been lucky enough to work with him on several more projects (PIBLOKTO, Leslie Low (In The Living Room)) and look forward to more collaborations with one of our favourite Singapore sons.
The Diarists got to work with the crews from Tact Space and The Rockstar Collective for an Eminent Takeover #urbanisme. Within the confines of an old rundown health spa we set out to document the sonic space that existed there before the space was torn down. We got together a diverse range of Singapore Songwriters to perform and this is the result.
