Mr Lee Grant - Rivers Run Dry. New Zealand music - 1968. Mr Lee Grant scored six Top Ten hits in 1967 - 1968. Rivers Run Dry was the fifth of these peaking at Number Five in July 1968 while the Kiwi band Simple Image were at Number One with Spinning Spinning Spinning. This was the follow up single to his third Number One hit Why or Where or When. His sixth and last Top ten hit would come in August 1968 with Bless You.
