che cosa ne sa un cane del tempo?
Che cosa è il tempo
per il cuore di un cane?
Giardini di stelle, insegne divelte
che cosa vede un cane oltre il cielo?

per l'istinto di un cane?

Se la paura irrompe nei ritagli di sole
i cani la rincorrono in branco
per azzannarla alla gola
E la trovano seguendo
le orme che abbiamo lasciato
nei giorni che non ricordiamo
i giorni vuoti

Fucili del sogno puntati su di noi
soldati schierati con le orbite scavate
da secoli e secoli di lucida veglia
Saltano i cani nella trincea
e azzannano le gambe del nostro sergente
e ci guardiamo dritti negli occhi
e un attimo dopo corriamo
come fossimo cani
