THE REGGAE RIDDIMS perform "A Message To You Rudy" live @ Rocks (岩石音樂) in Kaohsiung (Taiwan) on January 14, 2017.

THE REGGAE RIDDIMS performed this song as an encore to their first ever show in Kaohsiung. In an impromptu move, they were joined by Kaohsiung musicians Launa Cresswell doing improvised scat vocals, and Jerome Truman and Matt Hayward on bongos/rhythm.

"A Message To You Rudy" was originally written and performed by DANDY LIVINGSTONE, a British-Jamaican reggae musician, in 1967. It later achieved broader success when, in 1979, a cover by THE SPECIALS, the preeminent British 2 Tone/Ska band at the time, reached number 10 in the UK Singles Chart.
