DESCRIPTION:
Shot in connection with the production of my 2004 film REROUTE this song by The Jay Murphy Band (now Murder City Sparrows) was a key part of the soundtrack. In an exchange of services the video was shot for next to nothing, with my services being donated in lieu of payment for use of the song in the soundtrack. The concept behind the video came from a live show use of front projection art. By combining the front projection we shot through the night at the venue they were to perform at the next evening. The video was used extensively thereafter until the band changed their name and went in a different creative direction. The video was presented on the initial release of the Reroute DVD in 2004 and has had some general airplay over the years, but was used only as a promotional item.
