The first track written for my album “The Pilgrimage of Thingamuhjig” was “Consequence of Ideas”. Years earlier in my rehearsal studio in Nashville, Michael Elsner had the main riff that we began jamming on. I successfully annoyed him by adding and subtracting beats from various sections, but in the end I think he was pleased with the outcome. The great Philip Bynoe and his beastly bass tone made this song groove like the deep ruts on Hwy 101 as you drive through Echo Park. Enjoy!
