One Direction's rise to the top caused a sea change a few years ago, dethroning Justin Bieber and becoming the new pop music darlings. Earlier this year, they lost a member in Zayn, and now are planning a "hiatus" in 2016 to pursue solo careers. Well, let me just tell you, just place on the tombstone 2016 as the death year, because 1D are 1 and Done. Like what I did there?

History backs this up, plus, losing a year as a boy band passes the baton to another. The business doesn't wait for anyone, and this pop band money making machine of idiocy won't simply wait a year for profits. Plus, another band has already started to come in and sweep fans away, aiming to become the new empire.

So Directioners, you better prepare your gear for eBay, because the ride is over. I say thank god because this ride was extremely annoying thanks to younger and younger people using social media, but I am in no way looking forward to whatever's next.
