One of the best groups of the late 1950s and early 1960s was the New York based the Cleftones ."(I Love You) for Sentimental Reasons" written by Ivory "Deek" Watson & William "Pat" Best in 1945 was recorded by the Cleftones in 1962 and released on Gee/Roulette Records. The song was included in the Cleftones’ LP, for Sentimental Reasons, and is available on the 2CD set, Happy Memories - The Greatest Recordings Of The Cleftones on Jasmine Music.
