Sormorock - A Whiter Shade of Pale (Procol Harum cover) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 06, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Sormorock is a live band based in Turin, Italy, we feature the music of Procol Harum and build upon the compositions of Brooker, Fisher, Trower and Reid to develop original music in the same style.

Our first album, "Slidin' On The Sand", has been recently recorded and will be released soon, this video is the first of a few previews of what will end up on the album.

This is our take on Procol Harum's classic hit, A Whiter Sade Of Pale, as usual close to the original spirit but with a couple of surprises.

I feel deeply for this song, I've probably started playing Hammond because of what Matthew Fisher originally played in 1967, so it's just right for this recording to be the first of this session to be made available publicly.
