LA based dj/producers HAUL & MASON, are known for their skillfull four-turntable-party-rockin' re-mix style of blending, scratching, juggling and mixing many genres of dance music into new and classic hip hop jams... firmly establishing themselves as the deejay duo to watch for in the coming years while blowin' up dancefloors all around the globe. These two So-Cal locals have established + maintained over a 3 year residency at their popular westside club night called "QUALITY" @ Zanzibar in Santa Monica. The two not only deejay but produce original tracks while playing live with different bands, intricately weaving record selections in and out of each musical journey. They've shared the stage with artists such as Jazzy Jeff, Common, Mos Def, Mixmaster Mike of the Beastie Boys, Biz Markie, Africa Bambaataa, DJ Krush, Roni Size, and DJ Premier. Within the past two years, public attention regarding the duo has certainly rose as they've landed national print campaign ads with Ocean Pacific (OP Classic) and Live Mechanics Clothing. They were crowned champions of the "URB Magazine 2002 Mixtape Contest", as well as DJ Haul winning the "Best Selector" category by LA Weekly Magazine for 2003 and the two have been chosen as Los Angeles' resident djs for the innovative Scion Metro events. Haul and Mason were also selected by URB magazine for the "Next 100 Up and Coming Artists" issue of 2004 adding to their popularity as a crowd favorite. In 2005 they released their first full-length album "Half-Baked Goods" and continue to steadily push out original material on their independently owned Afrodisiac Soundsystem record label.
