FRANCESCO ANGIULI (bassplayer,arranger,composer,educator)
Born in Monopoli (the south of Italy), he started playing music at the age five, taking oboe, piano and finally bass.
He started to play rock,jazz,pop and eletronic music very early with differents local bands;at the same time he was focusing on his classical studies of piano and double bass.
Graduated in classical double bass(10/10) at "Conservatorio di Monopoli" with MAestro Michele Cellaro and in electric bass at "Universita' della Musica" & "Percento Musica"(Roma).
He mooved to Holland in 2006 where he studied jazz in the "Royal Conservatory" of DEN HAAG with Hein Van De Geyn,Frans Van Der Hoeven,Roelof Meyer,John Ruocco,Eric Gibben,Henk Huzinga,ecc.
He got graduated in 2009(9,50/10 cum laude).
He also studied with:John Patitucci,Eddie Gomez,Alain Caron,Harvey Swartz,Franco Petracchi,Ermanno Ferrari,Bruno Tommaso,Dave Liebman,Gene Jackson,Massimo Moriconi,Marco Siniscalco,Alex Milo,Paolo Ghetti,Gianfranco Gullotto.
