Biography Trumpets in Concert
In a magnificent way, Trumpets in Concert make the sacred building sparkle with noble tones. The three trumpeters always play at risk -- and everything sounds excitingly new. An energetic ensemble with its modern, refined interpretations, Trumpets in Concert stand for gripping concert programmes and breath-taking moments. A marvellous mixture, light, fresh, elegant and with a trace of dignity.
The participation in international festivals, first time performances and special sound carrier recordings have contributed to the excellent reputation of the ensemble. In Austria, Trumpets in Concert have performed at the international festivals Bregenzer Festspiele and Carinthischer Sommer. At the Carinthischer Sommer in 2005, they carried out the first time performance of Fanfare for Carinthia by Sir Peter Maxwell Davis. Their CD Imperial Fanfares was published worldwide by NAXOS International.
