TRANSLATIONS @ Cadogan Hall, London 5 June 2014
The snow's soul is kissed
by your departed shadow
which calls from every shadow,
Some sun's bloody needle
makes a fleece of them
Roses are blinding,
bloodstained by torch light
that drips on through the shadows,
while the moon's blood flows white,
flows white, flows white, flows white
into the pools of history
I feel its breath upon my cheek
till the howl of the morning
turns ice sculptures to blood
and shadows cloak what cannot be recovered
while the snow's soul is kissed
by your departed shadow
which calls from every shadow,
while some sun's bloody needle
punctures my dream
