DESCRIPTION: El Mastaba Center For Egyptian Folk Music celebrating the anniversary of the victory of the people of Port Said over the Tripartite Aggression with a number of bands under the umbrella of El Mastaba (El Tanboura and young Tanbura from Port Said, El Waziry from Ismailia, El Henna from Suez and the El Morsy Band which features Fatma Morsy, the only female Simsimeya player in Egypt and the world.
El Mastaba's participation in this event reflects the role of the Center in preserving the human and artistic heritage of Egypt and perfectly recaptures El Mastaba's spirit as a local entity that emerged from the streets, alleys and valleys of Egypt and sees folk art and music as a continuation of the identity of the country and not only as an entertaining performance.
