Hi all! For this first episode of Triangle Wave Records TV, I'm talking about how you can use the Korg Electribe 2 as a 16-track polyphonic, polyrhythmic 4-bar sequencer for your external hardware synthesizers, all by using a MIDI splitter!
The Electribe 2 sends out 16 channels of MIDI, which makes it prone and quite useful if you have multiple hardware synthesizers you'd like to control all at the same source.
Props to Ben of D/SIR for selling me that Quadra Thru for $20!
Check D/SIR out, they make awesome music (link below)!
Equipment used is as listed below:
Korg Electribe 2
MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru
Arturia MiniBrute
MFB Synthlite II
Nord Drum
For effects I used:
Digitech Studio Twin
Arion SCH-Z Stereo Chorus
VOX Bulldog Distortion
All recorded on a LEICA Dicomar by Panasonic (Mini-DV rules, okay?!) and a GoPro Hero II I bought years ago but never used.
