I'm SHANE WILSON - Alabama-born Singer/Songwriter/Musician/Recording Artist. Please allow me to introduce "The Silence" as it was recorded live at THE BLUEBIRD CAFE in Nashville, TN. I wrote this song by candlelight the day after tornadoes tore through our cities time and time again. It was April 27, 2011. When the howling cleared and the power failed, the silence was there. This features my new band, COLDWATER, with SHAWN DONAHOO on bass and CLAY MARTIN on drums (or a box). I really hope you understand my muse and know that I just want to express how I felt - I can't know how others feel about those storms.
